I do understand that TVs are mounted at a certain height and hence beds provide a good viewing angle and beds can provide a good sitting experience as they are at a certain height.But using just a mattress would make cleaning much easier and bugs are not that much of an issue in cities and stuff, hence cleaning is much easier and you can just put aside a mattress and get more space.
